Weather Guru to be discontinued end of 2021

As many of you may already know, Apple acquired the popular weather data provider DarkSky back in March 2020. Official announcement here: https://blog.darksky.net/dark-sky-has-a-new-home/

Unfortunately, Apple has taken the decision to discontinue the DarkSky Weather API that Weather Guru and many other weather apps use to make available weather forecast information.

We have looked for an alternative provider, but there is no other suitable weather data sources that will allow us to continue providing weather forecast data to our users without having to start charging a monthly subscription fee.

As a result, we have taken the difficult decision to discontinue the sale of Weather Guru with immediate effect.

All existing users will be able to continue using the app until the end of 2021.
